I started boxing with Joe four years ago. I wanted a different kind of workout that would keep me motivated and in shape. I remember my first class with Joe. He showed me all the various types of punches and made me feel a part of the group. I woke up the next day sore and Joe called me to see how I was feeling. I said I couldn't walk and he said I did my job! I laughed and didn't hesitate to confirm that I would be signing up and joining him for boxing. Here I am, four years later and loving boxing more than anything. There is no better workout that is more motivating and fun at the same time. Joe has perseverance, character, and compassion. He is not your ordinary coach. Joe is also your friend who will listen when you need to talk while keeping you going even on a bad day. I find myself to be very lucky to have started working out with Joe and staying in shape. I highly recommend Aces Boxing to anyone who wants to be in shape, stay in shape, or just have a phenomenonal workout.

I have been in and out of boxing since my sophomore year of high school and again and again I continue to come back to it! The hard work and dedication that it takes to compete in this sport gives me a feeling of accomplishment like no other, but even during the times when I wasn't competing I used boxing to keep myself fit. I went through phases of lifting heavy weights and what not, but it never compared to the shape I was when I was boxing. Over the last several months I've gotten back to boxing again! After working with Joe and his team of current and future boxers I've lost over 30lbs and I'm ready to get back in the ring!

I strongly believe that with a good leader and team you can accomplish any goal. Boxing is much like life’s battles; you train, over come, and accomplish the task given. Coach Joseph is not just a coach he's also like a father to me, he took me in after I got defeated in 2008, sat down with me and checked my mistakes and together we overcame the situations and habits i had, after that within three weeks I came in to Diamond Gloves and won by TKO. I fought again May 30th 2009 and also defeated my opponent. I truly know that if it wasn't for Coach Joseph I wouldn't be the person that I am today. My coach is the type of man that you can always come to when you have a problem, the one you can come to when u need help in boxing or real life situations. Coach is the man you can trust. When he tells you do something do it, because that’s what will get u the win of the night.
Everyone who comes and trains with you becomes successful. Coach Joseph is not like other coaches who puts you in over your head, he watches for his fighters and others, he's a straight forward man tells you how it is like it or not but that’s what you need in boxing to be successful. The only question i have in my life is this one…. "Why didn't i come to this gym any sooner?"

I started boxing at the age of 11 and went to a couple gyms before I found my coach and right away it was a fit. I have been with him for 2 years now and fought every fight under Joseph and I would not have had it any other way. He is not just a fantastic boxing trainer he is also a great man. I consider him my role model. He watches over me like a son and has taught me everything I know.Not just boxing but how to be a man and a good person. He takes good care of me, by brining me to fights and other gyms. He has done so much for me and would do the same for anyone. As he once told me during hard times all this will pass and we are going be on top. Coach treats you not just as a fighter, but as a part of this family he has brought together. There is no one else who is more dedicated to the sweet science than him. If you are aspiring to compete or learn boxing he is the man for you, you wont regret it. I dont believe i would be the fighter today with out him. He once told me if I didnt truley care I would not be here! I WOULDNT WANT ANYONE ELSE IN MY CORNER...
